Art for Art’s sake, Cool for my sake

So you’re a bit jaded with your local eatery, familiar with the same menu, the same tired décor, the same wines, the same faces. Yawn!
You want something new, something stimulating and a bit special.

Well, I don’t really know you too well but, if you, like me, have been to virtually every type of restaurant in the known Universe and doubt whether anything truly new or different really exists, then think again.

Behold Art Brasserie, a Pandora’s Box of excitement and an ample feast for the senses in Neuva Andalucia.

Near the Casino and next door to the recently launched Sports Bar, McCauley’s, Art Brasserie draws you are into a different World. The crisp elegance of the restaurant, stylish bar and enticing lighting are tempting all by themselves. However, it’s only once inside that the full impact of Art Brasserie becomes clear.

This restaurant is about fusion. The grafting of an Anglo-French Brasserie onto a more Latin passion for showmanship – an overall entertainment experience. Like a Chelsea girl’s not so innocent dalliance with Carlos, an Argentinean polo player.

Art Brasserie is a moving tableau of creativity. It walls covered with art which is all for sale and which changes on a regular basis to suit the mood of the month. July is Cuban month. Embracing all the good things that come from Cuba with Latin rhythms, rum, spicy food and the feel of steamy Habana.

Plans exist to extend this series of themes to include the sights and sounds of Argentina, Brazil and of course, Spain.

During the day Art Brasserie is a spectacular venue where you can relax, sip coffee and chat with friends and may be catch up on the performance of your investments – it’s WiFi enabled. Mid afternoon you may be tempted to try a light meal, the wraps being staggeringly good.

By night, the electricity crackles and the Art Brasserie comes into its own with the sizzling streets of Puerto Banus giving way to a chilled atmosphere and an absolutely delicious menu for all tastes.

The music, which is either live or recorded, depending on the night of the week, is an excellent back cloth to your special plans for the evening.

Having been turned on by the sensual Art Brasserie beware the power of the night…tread carefully you don’t know what lies ahead. Tomorrow may just be another day but I suspect you’ll be back at Art Brasserie reliving the experience over and over again.
